Still a Long Way to Go

I'm working away but still have lots of things to make before the Country Living Show at the Travis County Expo Center in Austin, Texas on April 27, 28, and 29. Thanks to my friend, Elle, for all her show expertise and help pushing me in the right direction.

I put these two plates together for Megan in North Carolina. I love custom orders and am never too busy to fill them.

Introducing . . . Captain Jack Sparrow

My latest mosaic skull is inspired by none other than Captain Jack Sparrow.

I debated about the bandanna - cloth or mosaic. I settled on mosaic. And thanks to Georgia at work who suggested the earring - the perfect touch.

Mostly gold teeth, one black one. Jack didn't have time to see the dentist.

And I couldn't forget the eyeliner.

What's next with the skulls? Maybe bad to the bone, another great idea from a friend. Comment me with themes - this is really fun!
