A photographer is coming to take some pics of my work tomorrow morning and I needed to make frames. I used to make many more than I do these days and it was fun to get back to it. I think these four represent a wide range of possibilities, which, like mosaics in general, are endless!!

Rustic Flamingo Plaque
I've been doing mosaics for over six years now, and this is the first rugged, rustic plaque I've done on a chunk of wood like this. I am already plotting with a friend about taking a chainsaw into the woods to cut more chunks to mosaic on! I can just see some of these made exclusively for a man cave!
This one is going to Pam in Ohio, a custom job and I have to tell you, I really wish I could keep it for my own front door!!!

My Latest Mosaic Cowboy Boot
Got the bull liquor bottle in Columbus, Ohio and the skull bead and rosette in a bead store in NYC. Always tongue-in-cheek, never serious, that IS my motto!!

Custom Dog Bone Leash Holder Plaque
This one was lots of fun. I was faced with the challenge of how to put a hook for the leash holder on the usual 1/8" birchwood 2D frames I usually use. I ended up buying a jigsaw and cutting the shape out myself from thicker plywood. This opens up a world of possibilities!!!!! Hope Oreo likes it!
