I had so much fun making this latest custom for JP and Renee!!! Sorry about the picture quality - it's a biggie - 56" by 16". I'll post better pics once it's mounted on the wall in the game room!!
Do your customers provide you with the bits and pieces of memorabilia? In this case the Jayhawk items? Also, do you grout all of your pieces? Some of my work (I'm just a beginner!!) is so chunky there is no way in the world to grout it, so I mosaic very very closely together. What are your thoughts? Thanks as always, Jool
Hi, Jool! My customers often give me things to include, but I bought everything that went into the Jayhawk frame. In the past, I did and S&K and an A&J for married couples and those are packed with things from the customers. I grout everything I do and I also like the look of putting things really close together. The grout finds its way in between the pieces. Happy creating!!
